23 Oct 2006 - 25 yard screamer denies ten man Lions three points.
It was another ten man team that took to the park against Chapeltown for their first game of the season. Early pressure from the Lions gave them a 3-0 lead but Chapeltown settled and pulled two back before half time.
The second half was evenly matched with tit-for-tat goals from both teams. At 6-5 though an incredible 25 yard strike from Chapeltown's no. 14 levelled the score which was as it remained until full time.
Disappointing for the Lions not to get the full three points after playing so hard with only ten men, but a draw was probably a fair result.
Player of the match was Adam Walls but there were exellent performances also from Proctor and Mason as Captain.
