8 Jan 2007 - Ossett Come back snatches points from Lions
Despite losing Wall through injury and going one goal down midway throught the first half Lions pulled back with a goal from Bilbey and a second extraordinary goal from Elwen (which he is claiming was a shot) that entered the net from what everyone thought was an impossible angle.
The second half started well with Bilbey coolly going round the keeper to score his second and Lions third.
But Ossett made a remarkable come back putting pressure on the Lions requiring two clearances from the line. But that was not enough to stop Ossett levelling the score with a well taken free kick and header from a corner. At this point Kerrigan also had to come off with an injury. Lions still had chances but it was Osset who clinched the final goal to snatch the three points.
Still, a good performance from all the Lions especially Fisher (Man of the Match, Leeds (Captain), Brown and Kerrigan.
