11 Feb 2007 - Tornados Flatten Cross Gates!

With nine players out due to holidays, illnes and injury it was yet again a ten man Lions team left to take on Tingley Tornados in the Supplememtary Cup. But the Lions had no answer to the Tornados who played some good football and didn't give the Lions any time on the ball.

Capitano, as captain, gave an outstanding and gutsy performance leading by example and Brown, Battye and Shaw also gave 110% but it was not enough to make any dent in the Tornado's armour.
